Ethiopia Guji Tade GG Farm
- Light roast
- Natural
- Heirloom
- 1,800–2,200m
Tade GG Farm in Shakiso, Guji, Oromia, is run by agronomist Tesfaye Bekele.
At 1,800–2,200m, Ethiopian heirloom coffee is naturally processed and slow-dried on raised African beds.
Three things worth knowing
- Shakiso once lost its forest to wildfire. Tesfaye has been bringing back trees and jobs through coffee.
- Cherries travel 20km to the farm’s own mill, are float-sorted, and only fully ripe fruit is hand-picked for drying.
- Natural means the fruit dries on the bean, and its sweetness stays.
